To craft world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay there are no shortcuts. It takes dedication, focus, and a determination to go further than most are willing to go. It’s the cumulative effect of thousands of hours of work each year that no one ever sees that sets our wines apart.
It all starts in the vineyard. You can only be as good as your starting material. We do not compromise our standards when selecting a site or grower to work with in order to increase production to meet external demands. We work tirelessly in the vineyard to maximize quality and potential that will be expressed through our wines.
No amount of machinery can replace time spent walking a vineyard, working by hand, observing the vine, and staying connected to our land. We employ a tremendous amount of technology to guide our decision process each step of the way but ultimately it’s years of experience and a few basic, time-tested tools that we rely on to craft our product.
In the cellar, we combine state-of-the-art technology and years of experience to fine-tune each step of the winemaking process. Our wines are fermented using only native yeast, aged using the finest French oak barrels, and bottled un-fined and un-filtered. All of this to preserve the nuance and character of each wine and ensure the wine’s ability to age gracefully over time.
